投稿エラーから回復

Bloggerの投稿時に、

001 java.io.IOException: No space left on deviceblog/20/43/6/necotan/archives/
2006_08_01_necotan_archive.html

というエラーが出て投稿できない現象が発生していたが、9/1にリトライした結果、直っていた。
※8/27のカラーボックスと当該エラーに関する投稿は、9/1に再度アップしたものです。

エラー発生直後、原因が不明ではあるものの、Blogger側に何らかの問題が発生しているとみて、Google グループ」というフォーラム（英語、ＩＤ登録要）を参照したところ、同じエラーで困っている人の書き込みがあった。
それに対して、「Blogger Employee」と名乗る人から、下記のような書き込みがあった。
日付は2006年8月23日(水) 午前1:51 。

For those of you experiencing the "No space left" error, thanks for reporting this error. For more info, check out other threads in this group that are already discussing this problem. Our engineers have taken note and are on the case. Keep an eye on Blogger Status for news on a fix:

For the few who are receiving the "006" error, it's probably because your index page has a large numbers of posts. You can fix this by lowering the number of posts that are shown on your home page. Instructions for that are here:

要するに、「バグの報告ありがとう。今直しているところだよ。修正完了についてはBlogget Statusのニュースをチェックしてみてね。」ということのようだ。Blogger Statusっていうものがあるのを初めて知った。見てみると、

とあって、Updateには「すでにバグはFIXした」と書かれている。しかし、私のブログではまだエラーが出てる。。フォーラムの続きを読んでいると、同じくBlogger Employeeから、

This "No space left" error seems to be fixed!
Let us know if you're still receiving it, though.

とメッセージが書き込まれていた。「まだメッセージを受け取っている人は教えてね」だ。
Bloggerはみんなのもの、ここはやっぱり私も書き込まねばなるまい！と思い、慣れない英語を駆使して（？）、

I'm still in that trouble.
I had error message like this.

Please help me.

と訴えてみた。駆使した割には簡単な英語だったけど、通じればいいんだよ、通じれば･･･。

そして、9/1に再びBlogger Statusを見てみたところ、

Some more of those "no space left on device" errors are popping up this morning. We're working on getting them all cleared up right now.

とあった。「今直しているところです」ということなのだが、フォーラムに書き込んだおかげか、私のブログは投稿可能な状態になっていた。

こういったやりとりが、すべて英語になるのが国内のブログサイトと違ってすこしやりづらいかも。
勉強になるからいいんだけどね。
とにかく直ってよかった。
